YOU ARE NEEDED AT NIGHT SERVICES!

Once a traveler came to a French village. Night was approaching and people were hurrying through the streets. The traveler noted that each person was carrying a bronze lamp. To his inquiry about this he received this reply:

“These people are going to the village church. You see, when the church building was built, it was decided that each member would bring his own light to the night services. There is no other way to light the building and everyone realized that if he is not there, the church building will be darker.”

So the traveler went to that village building, and there he found that on every seat was a place to hang the lighted lamp. As more and more of the members came, the building became brighter and brighter.

There is a very practical lesson in this story for us. Do you realize that the church services are just a little darker when you stay home, or go to some other place than the worship services on Sunday or Wednesday nights?

YOUR LIGHT IS NEEDED!
